Tyre Fitter/ Unit Technician


Due to an increase in customer demand and a number of newly secured contracts, we require an (ideally) experienced Tyre Fitter/ Unit Technician based at our industrial unit in South Leicester.

You’ll be joining one of the UK’s leading Alloy Wheel refurbishment specialists during a continued period of growth.

You will require the following essentials to be considered for this position:

-A good level of experience within one of these sectors:
– Tyre Fitting including balancing
– Garage background
– Wheel Refurbishment / S.M.A.R.T repair experience
– Vehicle Body-shop/Vehicle repair experience
– Organisation and ability to prioritise

In addition, you will also need:
– A full UK driving licence
-Ability to deliver excellent customer service
-Have a positive and flexible can-do approach to work
-Ability to reflect the professional image of the company

Within this position other tasks will include:

-Removing and fitting wheels to vehicles
-Collecting or delivering wheels – Lifting and movement of wheel will be involved
-Liaising with customers and internal management

Screen Repairer/ Leather and Trim Technician

Perfection Group requires a vehicle Trainee Windscreen/Leather & Trim Technician for the Derbyshire and surrounding Counties.

Perfection Group is one of the UK’s leading Alloy Wheel, Vehicle screen & trim repair specialists, with over 400 Main Dealership customers and private customers and covering the UK. This challenging and exciting role will require an ambitious, enthusiastic, flexible, friendly and positive minded person who can overcome obstacles using their quick thinking and initiative.

Once fully trained duties will include repairing damaged windscreens (not replacing them) and repairing internal vehicle trims and seats such as cigarette burns, scuffs on seat bolsters, scratches on door cards etc to an exceptionally high professional standard.

After training to will offer:

A fully expensed company vehicle.

All materials and further ongoing support.

A free company uniform.

A basic starting salary of £18000 plus performance and target bonuses

A potential £28000-£30000pa OTE can be achieved after the probationary period is completed.

Please note this is a mobile position and therefore travelling is required in and around your area and surrounding counties.

Applicants should expect to work Monday to Friday during Motor Dealer opening hours and 2 in 4 Saturdays.

An interest or previous experience in Automotive / Body shop sector would be an advantage.

Applicants need to be over 21 (for insurance reasons) and have full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points are permitted).

 

Mobile Wheel Refurbishment Technicians

We require Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Technicians for the Manchester, Staffordshire, West Midlands, Lincolnshire, East Midlands, Yorkshire and Northamptonshire areas.

Perfection Group is one of the UK’s leading Alloy Wheel refurbishment and Vehicle Screen & Trim repair specialists, with over 400 Main Dealership customers and covering the UK. Due to continued growth and newly secured contracts we now require Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Technicians.

This challenging and exciting role will require an ambitious, enthusiastic, flexible, friendly, experienced and positive minded candidate.

Duties will include removal and fitting of wheels on dealership premises and private customer premises, repairing and spray painting of damaged alloy wheels to an exceptionally very high standard using our bespoke made isocyanate free two pack paints and lacquers using power equipment provided by the Company.

The ideal candidate should be able to converse with Dealership employees and the public alike in a positive, professional and friendly manner and have ideally one experience in one of the following trades:

·         Automotive Bodyshop/paint  experience

·         SMART repairs

·         Alloy wheel refurbishment

Duties may also include collection /removal and fitting/refitting of wheels and delivery of wheels from customer premises to our Head office.

Applicants must be suitably qualified or experienced in a similar trade and be over 21 years of age. Heavy lifting of wheels will be involved.

 

Trainee Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Technician Positions

This challenging and exciting role will require an ambitious, enthusiastic, flexible, friendly, experienced and positive minded candidate.

Duties will include removal and fitting of wheels on dealership premises and private customer premises, repairing and spray painting of damaged alloy wheels to an exceptionally very high standard using our bespoke made isocyanate free two pack paints and lacquers using power equipment provided by the Company.

During training, you will be paid national wage. After full training, you will be able to refurbish all types of alloy wheels from all makes and models of vehicles and progress onto our well-paid salary scale.

Experience is not required, however, we are looking for dedicated staff who will represent our company well. You should be polite, honest and keen to learn. Ideally, you should have an interest in the automotive industry.

After training you will receive:

A superb basic starting salary

Up and in excess of £35000 including bonuses a possibility
